I am looking for an Assistant Development Manager to join a small but hugely active Developer, specialising in large, mixed-use residentially led schemes in London with a focus across sustainability.
This role will see the Development Manager work across a variety of schemes, as they have a busy pipeline which is pre planning. The role would see you work across the early stages supporting the planning process, as well as design, and all things pre construction. Reporting into the Project Director, this suits someone with around 2-3 years’ experience with a large developer, who is looking for growth.
The Development Manager’s responsibilities will include:
- Support on selection, appointment, and management of professional teams
- Create detailed feasibility and viability reports
- Manage planning process and support on meetings
- Manage internal and external stakeholders
- Work with local authorities to maximise the scheme through planning
- Lead design team
- Work alongside internal project team to create detailed design.
The Development Manager will have:
- Experience working on large scale residential Developments from concept and have worked to deliver a detailed planning application
- At least 2 years’ experience on the client side
- A strong understanding of the London planning system
- Had exposure to working with the GLA
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Salary and package
- £40,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience)
