To strengthen our team at our local office in Dudley (UK), we are currently recruiting a motivated Global Sustainability Regulations and Sustainability Manager.
Position Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic professional to join Tosca in a dual role focusing on global sustainability regulations and EMEA sustainability management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive our sustainability initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and support our business growth through sustainable practices.
This full-time role is based in Dudley, UK, with up to 40% travel required.
Responsibilities
Global Regulatory Management
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ESG-related regulations in Tosca\’s operational jurisdictions
- Develop and maintain a searchable register of ESG regulations
- Translate regulations into actionable business impacts for internal stakeholders and customers
- Coordinate with legal counsel and industry organizations to stay ahead of regulatory trends
EMEA Sustainability Leadership
- Act as the sustainability point of contact for EMEA customers and support sales activities
- Provide technical support and guidance to various departments to reduce sustainability-related impacts
- Develop costed improvement plans with ROI analyses to facilitate sustainability enhancements
- Manage sustainability reporting and disclosures, including Ecovadis, UN Global Compact, and EU CSRD
Lifecycle Assessment (LCA) Support
- Create and provide LCAs to the sales team using Tosca\’s approved processes
- Collaborate with the Global Sustainability Data Management and LCA Manager
Strategic Support and Reporting
- Assist in developing and implementing the Global Sustainability Strategy
- Conduct research on sustainability best practices and benchmarking
- Prepare progress reports on product stewardship and sustainability goals
Your Profile
- Bachelor\’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability within a business or consultancy environment
- Strong understanding of ESG-related regulations (e.g., EU CSRD, EPR, PPWR)
- Experience implementing sustainability improvements in matrix organizations
- Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
- Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Passion for sustainability and driving positive change
