This role is being advertised on behalf of Neon Contracts who are operating as an employment business. We are looking for production operatives to work in a busy leading manufacturer of Extrusion Molding, this will be for a new shift that is being introduced.
Hours of work: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7am – 7pm
Salary: £12.21 + £1.50 shift allowance
Training: 4-8 weeks during Monday to Thursday (full-time) £12.21 + OT rates
This role will include:
- Loading products on to machine/production line
- Housekeeping on all extrusion line
- Monitor of product quality and ensure all quality checks and testing is carried out in line with specification
- Monitor and manage line output rates, utilisation, scrap levels against plan/targets on each line
- Coiling on a very busy production line
- Working safe in accordance with site procedures and safe systems of work
Required Skills or qualifications:
- Experience in the operation of extrusion equipment (desirable)
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment (min 2 years’ experience, training will be given) (desirable)
- Good team working and communication
- Positive and pro-active attitude
- Be able to work unsupervised and using own initiative
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Must have an excellent eye for detail.
