This is a part-time role responsible for developing players in a specific age group.

Core Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering high-quality, fun training sessions that are age-appropriate.
• Connecting and communicating effectively with young players to create a positive and creative environment.
• Aligning session design and outcomes with our Forest Green Rovers academy philosophy.
• Identifying high-potential individuals and supporting their development within sessions.
• Ensuring all activities comply with EPPP regulations and safeguarding standards.
• Performing additional duties as reasonably requested by the Academy Lead Foundation Coach.
• Adhering to the Club’s Safeguarding Policy at all times.
• Promoting a safe and healthy environment for all players and staff.
• Maintaining a professional image of the Club and oneself.
• Contributing to initiatives aimed at improving service delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure effective service development and delivery.
• Seeking opportunities to update and improve personal skills, knowledge, and understanding relevant to the role.

About You

Knowledge, skills, and experience:

• UEFA C Licence or higher
• Enhanced DBS clearance
