As a 7.5T (C1) Driver you'll have:
- A valid C1 licence and tacho card
- No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's
- Previous experience in business-to-business 7.5T (C1) deliveries preferable but not required
- Flexible schedule for temp work
As a 7.5T (C1) driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out pre/post route vehicle inspections. You'll be expected to report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Delivering and collecting various types of goods to and from locations regionally and nationally.
- You may need to physically lift, carry and move some products ('handballing') during loading and unloading operations at times.
- Communicate regularly with depot managers and traffic offices.
- Follow closely all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulation.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Hours, perks and pay:
- We can offer flexibility, allowing you to pick and choose your working days, giving you the opportunity for a healthy work-life balance.
- These positions are commutable from the west part of Birmingham.
- Minimum 8-hour shifts.
- Monday – Friday Days: £14 per hour, holiday pay, pension contribution added on to hourly rate.
- Saturday Days: £15 per hour, holiday pay, pension contribution added on to hourly rate.
- Sunday Days: £16 per hour, holiday pay, pension contribution added on to hourly rate.
