Weekly Rate: 480-530

Hours: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) 8:30am - 3:30pm

Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Rubery (B45), who are looking to appoint an experienced Intervention Teaching Assistant for a long-term role starting in September. The role is delivering targeted interventions to pupils with SEN, including those with EHCPs and children working below age-related expectations. The school are open to candidates with experience supporting across all primary phases or within a specific key stage. You'll work closely with the SENCO and class teachers to deliver tailored programmes focused on learning development, emotional regulation, and social communication.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in a primary school setting (essential)
  • Proven experience delivering academic or SEN interventions to small groups or individuals
  • SEN experience, including supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs
  • Qualified to at least Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Level 4 HLTA, or a relevant degree
  • Confident in adapting resources and strategies to meet individual pupil needs
  • Skilled in using visuals, routines, and positive behaviour management approaches
