The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.
Reporting to a General Counsel, the role’s primary purpose is to contribute to the effective operation of the Group Legal function in line with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to General Counsel, including company secretarial matters, co-ordinating meetings within business and liaising with external stakeholders.
- Maintenance and management of the Group contracts register and repository.
- Management of contract data related databases and information flows.
- Review, drafting and negotiation of agreements based on standard templates; assisting with other agreements as required, including standard form novation agreements and termination notices.
- Assisting in the review, updating and proofing of Group standard terms and client-facing materials, including pre-release into a live environment.
- Day to day support for the Legal team on internal queries and liaison with other business areas.
- Assisting in the management of the Group’s intellectual property portfolio and brand protection measures.
- Assisting in team management of external counsel costs.
- Team support in relation to legal deliverables and management information as required.
- Contributing to team know-how, including research, procedures and templates as required.
- Other, as reasonably required by line manager and 7IM.
