As a Quality, Funding & Compliance Officer, you'll be at the heart of our apprenticeship programmes, ensuring we meet vital funding, quality, and compliance standards. Your impact:
- Support our Account Managers and Learning Development Mentors across all aspects of apprenticeship delivery - from onboarding through to audit.
- Ensure every learner record is compliant, every process follows regulations, and every data point is audit-ready.
Quality & Compliance Leadership:
- Monitor and uphold compliance standards across all funding streams.
- Oversee setup and learner administration across systems such as PICS and Smart Assessor.
- Support exam compliance under JCQ regulations.
- Conduct file audits to ensure full funding compliance.
Coordination & Delivery Support:
- Work closely with account managers, LDMs, and delivery teams to manage onboarding, programme monitoring, and completions.
- Facilitate employer and learner feedback and ensure accurate data recording.
Reporting & Insight:
- Implement reporting structures to track progress and risks.
- Submit monthly ILR claims and monitor PDSATs for accuracy.
- Support external audits with complete and compliant files.
Collaboration & Development:
- Lead on internal training and induction of new starters regarding funding and compliance.
- Promote digital-first solutions for process efficiency.
- Attend sector CPD sessions to stay current with regulatory change.
Who we seek:
- Detail-driven compliance professional with deep knowledge of apprenticeship funding, exceptional organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in the education and skills sector.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an administrative or customer-focused role, ideally within an Independent Training Provider (ITP) or Further Education (FE) setting.
- Proven knowledge of apprenticeship funding and compliance regulations, including experience with ESFA frameworks, documentation requirements, and Accountability Framework standards.
- Strong understanding of End Point Assessment (EPA) processes, awarding body standards, and gateway preparation protocols.
- Proficient in CRM and MIS systems with strong MS Office skills. Familiarity with PICS and digital record-keeping is highly desirable.
- Able to convey complex compliance and funding information clearly and confidently to teams, stakeholders, and partners.
