We are looking for someone to take significant ownership of our real-time video delivery system.

What You’ll Do

  • Take particular ownership of our Rust/WebRTC video system and other high-performance / low-level systems we build.
  • Work cross-discipline with our clinical product and regulatory colleagues to ensure we are building the right thing for our users.
  • Collaborate with company leadership to make strategic decisions and have direct contact with patients your work helps.
  • Invent solutions to problems we haven’t yet spotted.
  • Help shape the way the software team works as we grow, maturing our processes and mentoring new hires.

About You

  • You have a strong background in building systems near or below kernel level.
  • You can describe what select (from select.h) does.
  • You have strong working knowledge of either Rust, C/C++ or a functional language (e.g., OCaml).
  • You have experience in either development for web platforms or compiler technology.
  • You care about your users - you bias towards building the right thing before building the thing right.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with software medical device development (or other regulated industries).
  • Worked with WebRTC or other real-time technologies.
  • Built DSLs/compilers.
  • Experience working in a startup.
  • iOS/Android application development (native or otherwise).
