A well-established electrical engineering company is looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team. This role is essential in the pre-construction phase, ensuring accurate cost estimates for electrical and BMS systems across commercial and industrial sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in securing bids, maximizing project profitability, and delivering cost-effective solutions that align with client expectations and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse project plans and specifications to determine the full scope of electrical work.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities, providing strategic solutions.
- Collaborate with design teams to resolve discrepancies and incorporate client feedback.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, covering materials, labour, and equipment.
- Obtain and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations to secure the best terms.

- Participate in post-tender negotiations and project handovers.
- Work closely with project managers to assist in cost monitoring and control.
