The Australian Government is delighted to declare its initiative to hire construction workers who are prepared to move to Australia to alleviate the shortage of labor in the construction industry. This initiative is formally referred to as the Construction Visa Subsidy Program (CVSP). Under this program, individuals will receive complimentary visa support services and financial incentives of up to $10,000 Australian dollars. These incentives are designed to motivate and assist construction professionals from abroad in relocating to Australia and engaging in roles within the construction sector.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be sponsored by a CVSP employer as a skilled migrant in one of the following visa subclasses – 482, 494 or 186;
- Sponsored CVSP employer must be headquartered and undertaking building and construction work in Western Australia.
- Be granted a visa through the WA State Nominated Migration Program (SNMP) in one of the following visa subclasses – 190 or 491;
- Be employed by a business headquartered and undertaking building and construction work in WA;
