We have an exciting opportunity for a nurse to join a specialist healthcare service. This permanent position is based in a custody healthcare setting, with a clear 4-on, 4-off rota pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off), ensuring excellent work-life balance. The role is available to start as soon as possible, but can accommodate notice periods. The position offers a competitive salary of £42,527 plus a welcome bonus and opportunity to earn overtime.

Your key responsibilities will be:
- Conducting forensic sampling (including road traffic offence bloods)
- Providing care for detainees with acute medical needs
- Delivering substance misuse therapies
- Offering support to break re-offending patterns
- Managing vulnerabilities and conducting referrals
- Promoting good personal healthcare
- Working with mental health teams to support detainees’ needs
For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:
- Qualified paramedic with 3+ years’ post-qualification experience
- Acute medical healthcare experience
- Experience in A&E, walk-in centres, community nursing, or related roles
- You must be a car driver, in order to cover other local police custodies as required
