We are currently recruiting for Child Care Workers who will be responsible for providing outstanding care to the children and young people, treating them with dignity and respect. As a Child Care Worker, you must be optimistic and compassionate about the care you provide, promoting good childcare practices through the provision of a caring environment for the children in accordance with the home’s statement of purpose and function, and in line with Nugent’s core values.

Lime Grove Cottage offers accommodation for:

  • Children and young people between the ages of 12 and 17
  • Children who have experienced trauma, abuse and neglect
  • Children and young people with mild to moderate learning difficulties, are neuro-diverse and/or have mental health needs

The overriding principle is that the children we care for should have an experience that is as enjoyable as possible, in a safe, healthy and relaxed environment which enables them to reach their full potential.

The successful candidates will have a Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young People’s workforce or equivalent or a willingness to work towards this, which will be funded via an accredited Apprenticeship.
