Pertemps Bristol Industrial are currently recruiting for a Panel Wirer, on a temporary basis, for one of our clients based in Midsomer Norton BA3.
Β£18.00 per hour PAYE, Β£23.33 per hour payment via Umbrella
Monday to Friday: 7.30am - 4.30pm
Free parking on site
Temporary Contract
About the role:
- Prepare components, drawings, tools and working area to ensure an efficient build
- Production of control panels
- Assembly of components and cabling to meet design requirements
- Accurately and logically following schematic diagrams
- Crimp and Lug ends of cables to the relevant standard using the correct calibrated tool
- Liaising with manager on missing components and recording and reporting any mistakes found
- Using appropriate tools to securely fix components to the backplate
- To safely move motor control centres and steel frameworks around the workshops
The right candidate:
- An experienced and confident electrical wirer with significant panel build experience
- Testing experience
- Good communication skills
This is a temporary contract with a duration of 2 to 3 months. Possible extension until the end of the year for the right candidate.
