As an Education Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in the lives of our young people, supporting their daily activities, educational needs, and personal development. You will work closely with a magnificent team including teachers, therapists and other support workers to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.
As an Education Support Worker at Victoria School you will be able to:
- Support students throughout the school day, in a range of subjects and activities such as Reading, Maths, ICT, PE, Swimming, Dance, Drama, Food Tech and Music.
- Provide the highest standards of professional support to students.
- Communicate with the students we support, using their preferred means of communication.
- Promote and reinforce students’ self-esteem, social development and independence.
- Provide direct care to all young people in line with agreed standards of care.
- Prepare classroom as directed for lessons, and clear afterwards.
- Establish good working relationships with students.
- Support students in their physical, emotional and educational development.
