Complex Care Assistant Job Overview

  • Location: Tunbridge Wells and surrounding area
  • Hourly Rate: £15.00 to £16.83 per hour
  • Shifts available: Part-time, flexible with possibility of set shifts a week
  • Schedule: Flexibility to work shifts, including Monday to Friday and alternate weekends
  • Full time or part time hours available throughout the day:
  • 7:00am - 2:30pm
  • 2:30pm - 10:00pm
  • 7:00am - 10:00pm
  • 6:00pm - 10:00pm plus sleep in night
  • 8:00am - 8:00pm
  • 8:00pm - 8:00am

Complex Care Assistants within the team may be required to take part in the on-call rota. This is being on standby should assistance be needed.

Eligibility Criteria for a Complex Care Assistant

  • Previous care experience is essential
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK. We do not currently offer sponsorship
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)

We are looking for a Complex Care Assistant to join our team in Tonbridge Wells and surrounding areas to help look after young adults with day-to-day living to promote their own independence. At Continuity of Care Services, we are proud to adopt a person-centric approach to care. This means that each Complex Care Assistant looks after the physical, emotional, cultural and social needs of our clients. We support with 24-hour care, seven days a week. Throughout the working day, you will be working alongside another Complex Care Assistant or provide 1 to 1 care. Before you begin, you will have the opportunity to meet your clients and their family to ensure you are well-prepared for the role.

We are looking for individuals who have had previous experience with:

  • Working with individuals who can display behaviours that challenge, and learning disability
  • PEG
  • Autism
  • Anxiety
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Medication
  • Catheter & Stoma
  • Makaton
  • Moving & handling

Former experience and awareness is preferred but training will be given otherwise.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract, Contracted hours could be considered following successful completion of probation.
