Brafe Engineering Limited have an immediate requirement for a competent, skilled CNC Turner/programmer to join their team based in Woodbridge, Suffolk.
You will be working primarily with our DN Solutions Puma SMX 3100 High Performance Multi Axis Mill Turn Machines (Fanuc control 31i) and Haas CNC lathes.

The successful CNC Machinist will report to the Machine Shop Supervisor and Head of Machining.
Your key duties will include:
- Working from detailed technical drawings and specifications and working to tight tolerances.
- Programming, setting and operating CNC Lathe machines.
- Editing and proving programs with relevant programming knowledge and experience (experience in Fanuc and Haas Control Systems).
- Experience in CAD/CAM would be beneficial.
- Ideally, have experience in machining exotic materials, including Duplex, Super Duplex, Aluminum Bronze, Inconel, Monel, Titanium, and Stellite.
- Working with small batches and one-off pieces.

An excellent salary of Β£16+ per hour is on offer depending on experience. You will work 37 hours a week (Monday to Thursday 08:30 β 16:30, Friday 08:30 β 16:00). Holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum plus Bank Holidays. Healthy overtime opportunities are likely. Great benefits are on offer including a highly competitive pension and life cover. All PPE included, including overalls and workwear.
