Grafton Recruitment are recruiting for a HR Assistant to join one of our clients' busy, growing team in the Brandesburton area. A hardworking individual to support the full HR department with administrative support, across all activities.
Roles & responsibilities:
- Manage the IFS system for starter and leaver input
- Monthly driving licence checks, right to work checks & BPSS/DBS administration
- Support Training co-ordinator in completing both hourly and salaried inductions
- Note taking across all HR meetings including disciplinary & grievance meetings
- Create & Monitor factory agency labour PSL & maintain factory agency worker spreadsheet
- Liaise with production/factory weekly to review labour manning needs with support from HR advisor
- Update the disciplinary & grievance records in ERP system
- Be a secondary back up for payroll processing and support
- Check invoice on Hold reports for any outstanding invoices
- Create and maintain all induction and starter packs
- Send out all new starter information including ID verification requests
- Any other administrative HR duties as advised by HR Manager or Head of HR.
The perfect HR Assistant will have:
- Excellent administrative skills
- Strong analytical background, comfortable dealing with data
- Confident Microsoft Office user
- CIPD level 3 preferable, but not essential
- Excellent telephone manner, confident approach and comfortable in client facing roles
- ERP/HR systems knowledge
- Proactive, ensuring all jobs are completed to a high standard
