Role Overview As a Warehouse Operative, you will handle the movement and management of goods daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and dispatch cargo, ensuring proper handling
- Perform warehouse duties within specified timeframes
- Complete all required documentation
- Follow local laws, policies, and safety procedures
- Operate forklift trucks (counterbalance)
- Load and unload containers
- Build pallets and check dangerous goods
- Sort shipments efficiently
- Report damages or non-compliance
- Adhere to DHL Code of Conduct and compliance policies
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Skills and Experience
- Experience in a busy warehouse environment
- Forklift licenses (Counterbalance, Reach, VNA) preferred; training available
- Knowledge of hazardous goods (ADR)
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, team-oriented
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- CRB check required
- 5-year employment history
