The Role:

  • Working for an established company, who offers a great team environment and job stability
  • Working within a small team who provide support to a busy production environment
  • As part of a small and friendly team you will provide mechanical repairs to a wide range of manufacturing machinery
  • Setting up the extruders and various cutting machines
  • Dealing with fault finding on machine breakdowns
  • Setting up the machines to the desired product requirements
  • Fitting of new machines
  • The use of mechanical tools
  • Working to health and safety requirements

Skills and attributes:

  • Mechanical knowledge
  • Electrical understanding advantageous
  • Welding, lathe, and milling experience would be extremely helpful
  • Setting, fitting, machine maintenance experience
  • Ability to fault find, repair and provide solutions to mechanical breakdowns
  • If you feel you have transferable skills
  • Able to offer a flexible approach, supportive manner to a small team
  • Are mechanically minded
  • Further training provided

The Hours:

  • Days
  • Monday to Thursday 7am - 3.45pm
  • Friday 7am - 12.45pm
