Senior Software Engineer - crypto desk

The desk is expanding its spot and derivative trading capabilities globally across both centralized and decentralized platforms. As a developer on this team, you will work closely with traders to enhance the firm\’s crypto trading abilities by engineering innovative, scalable, and stable systems. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to become the expert on specific strategies and exchanges that you are responsible for in the crypto markets. You will be involved in the full SDLC, from requirements gathering, to designing and implementing new strategies, and trading tools. What we’re looking for: Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline plus at least 4 years of progressive experience developing software applications is required. Proficiency in programming languages like Python and/or C++. Experience with smart contract development in Solidity or Rust is a plus. Familiarity with Web3, DeFi protocols, EVM, DAOs, and NFTs is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy and a thorough understanding of full life-cycle development and performance optimization / latency reduction methodologies. Ability to work closely with other software developers, traders, quants, and infrastructure teams. This is a full-time position based in London. Compensation is highly competitive and dependent on experience.
