The David Ross Education Trust is recruiting a Head of Procurement to join our central team based in Loughborough. The Trust is a network of unique and diverse academies, committed to becoming one of the top-performing multi-academy trusts. The Trust’s network comprises 36 primary and secondary schools across the country, with a combined annual supplier spend of c. £30m.

The successful candidate will lead and manage the procurement function across the Trust, ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted efficiently, transparently and in accordance with relevant regulations and best practices. We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in a senior public sector procurement role that has a strong understanding of procurement regulations and best practices.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication, analytical and strategic thinking skills, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work under pressure. They will also hold a CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply or higher.

  • Salary in the range £55,000-£60,000 depending on level of proven experience.
