NRG is proud to partner with Blacksons, a fast-growing, nationwide network of RICS-qualified professionals, in their search for a Chartered Building Surveyor / Chartered Residential Surveyor. This role offers the flexibility of fully remote working, the security of a permanent contract, and the opportunity to develop your career in a dynamic environment.

About the Role
Operating across England, Scotland, and Wales, Blacksons’ consultants support a diverse client base, including landlords, developers, insurers, financial institutions, and legal professionals. As part of a dynamic team of Chartered Surveyors, Valuers, Building Engineers, and Environmental Health Practitioners, you will have the freedom to shape your career while contributing to a wide range of technical and consultancy projects across the public and private sectors. You will be involved in:
- Expert witness work
- Specific defect inspections
- Structural assessments
- New build monitoring
- Dilapidation services
- Schedules of condition
- Licence to alter assessments
- Party wall matters
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Building Surveying (RICS accredited)
- MRICS/FRICS qualification
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent and accurate report writing skills
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Numeracy skills and commercial awareness
- Ability to foster relationships with professionals at all levels
- Well-organised with strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Proactive and diligent approach with a team-focused mindset
