Join our dynamic team at Fresenius Medical Care, a leading provider in renal dialysis services dedicated to enhancing the lives of patients with kidney disease worldwide every day. We are seeking a Commissioning Manager to contribute to our success.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the effective commissioning and decommissioning of dialysis clinic facilities and services within agreed timescales. You will ensure that clinic commissioning projects, along with their resource, cost, and documentation requirements, are developed and managed effectively. You will plan and evaluate activities to deliver commissioning and decommissioning projects across the UK and Ireland, aligning with contractual requirements while ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

This is a full-time, 37.5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday position with travel required across the UK & Ireland when required and therefore will require a Full UK Drivers Licence.

What does the role involve?

  • Lead commissioning and decommissioning projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
  • Create and manage project business cases and budgets.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigating actions.
  • Resolve project issues promptly to prevent delays or failures.
  • Provide monthly project status reports and insights.

About You:

  • A good standard of education to degree level is desirable.
  • Qualifications in recognised Project Management methodologies or process frameworks are critical.
  • Significant experience in a Project Management role, with a proven track record of delivering projects within a business environment.
  • A team player who thrives in collaborative environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage risks proactively.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and manage delivery schedules.
  • Willingness to travel to other sites as required.
  • Commercial sector experience in Business Analysis or Project Management is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in problem-solving, risk management, and project reporting.
