Senior Support Worker

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in all aspects of their daily lives, making a positive impact that is immeasurable.

Shift Pattern: 16-24 Hour shifts, including Sleep-ins, on a one-on-two or two-on-four basis.
A day in the life of a Senior Support Worker could include:
- Leading shifts and deputising for the Registered Manager when needed
- Supporting team members with mandatory training and development
- Communicating with the team about individual care plans and their implementation
- Maintaining accurate records and logs for monitoring and evaluation
- Participating in team and staff meetings for effective communication and development
- Providing support and care to young people
- Encouraging young people in their educational pursuits and social activities
- Traveling with young people to and from school or college
- Preparing meals and maintaining the home environment
- Organising and facilitating social activities

Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
- 12 months senior experience in a Residential setting is highly desirable, but applications from those starting their journey are welcome
- DBS and reference checks will be conducted in line with government regulations and best practices for safer recruitment
