Sports Centre Assistant

Are you passionate about sport, fitness, and helping others thrive in an active environment? Cambridge Regional College is seeking a friendly and motivated Sports Centre Assistant to join our team on a variable-hours basis. Hours will be as required by the needs of the business, but will primarily include evenings and weekends, with some daytime availability required.

As a Sports Centre Assistant, you will be the welcoming face of our facility during opening hours and play a key role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the Sports Centre. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering fitness classes and gym inductions
• Assisting with equipment setup, maintenance, and storage
• Upholding health and safety standards at all times
• Ensuring all equipment and facilities are clean, tidy, and well maintained
• Providing excellent customer service to students, staff, and members of the public

What We\’re Looking For:

• Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification (essential)
• Ability to deliver high-energy fitness classes
• First Aid at Work qualification (desirable)
• Enthusiastic, approachable, and professional attitude
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high standards of service
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
