Mencap are recruiting for Support Workers in Thetford! We are looking for full time support workers and part time wake nights on a permanent basis. We also have relief/bank contracts available.

We offer amazing benefits and award winning training to ensure your success within your work. Your rota'd shifts are typically between the times of 7am and 10pm. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!

What we need is someone that wants to support people who have learning disabilities to live their best lives, and to live life to the full!

What are we looking for?

  • A genuine passion for supporting others.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Drivers preferred but not essential.

*All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.

4 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time) + a variety of benefits including pension and holiday buying options.
