Location: Swindon Women’s Centre with outreach in Swindon
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum dependent on experience
Hours: 35 hours per week (flexibility to work outside of normal working hours as required)

This is a partnership with Avon & Wiltshire Partnership Mental Health Trust (AWP) and The Nelson Trust to address women’s needs holistically to improve mental health and wellbeing during the perinatal period. You will provide wrap around support and interventions to women experiencing multiple and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:- Deliver an innovative service supporting women during the perinatal period (Pregnancy - 2 years) with multiple and complex needs.
- Provide intensive wrap-around, holistic support through key working and develop a sustainable peer support programme.
- Offer both one-to-one practical and emotional support and support in the delivery of group interventions.
- Undertake comprehensive assessments of women’s needs, including health, psychological, and social needs.
- Develop, implement, and review gender-responsive support plans based on individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with partner organisations to provide a coordinated multi-agency response.
- Experience of engaging women and building trusting relationships.
- Aware of trauma-informed approaches and gender-specific issues women may be experiencing.
- Knowledge of relevant local services and women’s entitlements.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time, and act on own initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Car driver with full access to a vehicle and willingness to travel.
