We’re looking for a Low/No Code Developer to join our team in Bradford (BD4) on a permanent basis - Hybrid working. You will be expected to work in the office at least two days a week.

We are looking for a talented Low/No Code Developer to design, configure, and implement low/no code solutions across various leading SaaS platforms. This role will primarily focus on configuring the ShareDo platform and enhancing its functionality to meet specific business requirements. You will regularly collaborate with colleagues and partners to brainstorm solutions and provide expert technical guidance on the best implementation approaches to achieve effective and sustainable outcomes.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of ShareDo and other SaaS platforms, offering valuable insights on customisation and implementation to maximise value.
  • Configure work types, workflows, and forms within ShareDo and other platforms to align with client business processes.
  • Utilise built-in tools to modify fields, layouts, and business rules according to product specifications.
  • Develop widgets and extend functionality using JavaScript, integrating them into platform UI.
  • Use platform APIs to integrate with external third-party APIs as needed.
  • Take proactive ownership of critical product requirements, serving as the technical point of contact for the team. Collaborate with product and business teams to prioritise and execute development efforts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing efficient and sustainable solutions.
  • Lead a small team of developers, offering guidance on technical decisions and best practices to drive quality and efficiency.
  • Advocate for best practices in software development, including code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD approaches. Help the team adopt new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Identify and implement strategies to optimise application performance, including load times, responsiveness, and scalability.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog detailing as the technical lead. Ensure the team remains focused on delivering value to the customer.

We tend to look for people with:

  • Significant and in-depth experience with JavaScript, including deep expertise in ES6+ and modern JavaScript features.
  • Proficiency in configuring software in a low-code or configurable environment (e.g., ShareDo or similar platforms).
  • Background in Workflow modelling and design.
  • Experience with Knockout.js or similar MVVM frameworks for data-binding and application structure.
  • Experience with Bootstrap for responsive web design and UI component integration.
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring a team of developers, with a track record of fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
  • Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Knowledge of API integration (RESTful APIs, WebHooks etc).
