About the Role
This is a physically active role supporting day-to-day factory operations (regular rotation of tasks will be provided). Your responsibilities will include:
- Manual movement of products and operation of 2.5t forklift (licence required)
- Operating basic machinery and tools with regular daily rotation of tasks
- Assisting with production and sorting processes
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety of work areas
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in an aligned role (factory/warehouse/labouring) with an appropriate level of physical fitness (supported by current references)
- Forklift licence (LF)
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Availability to work day shift from Monday to Friday (5:00am to 1:30pm with an early knock off at 11:00am on Fridays!), with some flexibility to cover PM shift when other staff are on leave
This is a permanent full-time role (permanent hourly pay rate of $30.47/hour) offering ongoing, stable work in a friendly team with supportive supervisors. You will also have the opportunity to undertake training to boost your skills in operating machinery (such as front end loader).
