Are you looking for a new role in Buying / Procurement? Sphere Solutions is seeking an experienced Buyer with construction experience to join a well-established contractor in Cornwall.
The role:
- Procure all materials for the best possible price
- Mentor junior team members
- Analyse current supply chain price agreements / obtain competitive prices
- Compare suppliers' quotes and analyse prices against tender allowances
- Research product information and alternative products
- Assist the accounts department to resolve/avoid invoice queries
- Measure quantities of materials if required
The person:
- Proven experience in a similar role with construction knowledge
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Comprehensive understanding of Excel
