Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise staff, assist with training, scheduling, and resolving issues; potentially fill in for the manager\’s absence.
  • Oversee daily operations of revenue cycle management services, including medical coding, charge entry, claims submissions, payment posting, follow-up, and reimbursement management.
  • Support the Manager in leading a team of revenue cycle management associates and Team Leads.
  • Communicate regularly with healthcare providers to ensure smooth operations and resolve billing-related issues.
  • Act as a liaison with managers and administrators of client components on day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure RCM operations comply with federal laws and departmental protocols.
  • Develop and implement operating policies and procedures in line with regulations.
  • Manage personnel, including work allocation, attendance, and problem resolution.
  • Evaluate performance and recommend personnel actions.
  • Motivate employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
  • Analyze operational data to identify procedural improvements.
  • Design and implement systems to enhance revenue and efficiency.
  • Train staff on policies, systems, procedures, and standards.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned and report to the Manager.
