Our client is a multi-site distribution company [technical products] who are now expanding abroad. The product range is vast & supplied via multi-channel routes to both domestic & business-to-business sectors. This rapid growth has led to a variety of new roles including the need for more client support.
Role Summary
- Customer Assistance: Respond to incoming customer inquiries promptly, efficiently, and courteously via phone, email.
- Issue Resolution: Identify customer issues and concerns, troubleshoot problems, and guide customers through appropriate solutions. Utilise available resources and tools to resolve customer complaints.
- Product/Service Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's products.
- Order Processing: Assist customers with order placement, tracking, cancellations, and modifications. Ensure that customers receive a smooth and seamless buying experience.
- Up-Selling: Identify opportunities to promote additional products that will benefit the customer.
- Professional Communication: Exhibit a friendly, empathetic, and professional communication style. Ensure that customers feel valued and respected throughout their interactions with the company.
Experience required: The ideal candidate will have worked closely with clients in a fast-moving operation dealing with order queries, processing, cross-selling where needed. Therefore, customer service experience is essential as is knowledge of MS Office packages & excellent communication skills.
