Role: Production Operative

Location: Birmingham, B32 3DB

Contract type: Perm

Hours: 08:00AM – 5:00PM (Monday – Friday)

Salary: Β£25,812.79 Per Annum

Job Advert: Restore Technology Birmingham are the UK’s leading provider of high security solutions to remove and destroy data from IT equipment. We do this for major corporate organisations and UK government departments.

In the process technician role, you will be working in a production line environment and will be responsible for:

  • The accurate recording of equipment
  • The accurate grading and testing of equipment
  • Dismantling IT related assets
  • Recording all data in relevant software and ensuring that all paperwork is correctly completed

Experience isn’t needed as we can teach you the skills; what we really need is your enthusiasm and commitment.

Responsibilities:

  • Working in a production line environment within the warehouse facility
  • Supporting goods in as and when required
  • Responsible for the accurate recording (serial number, make/model etc) of equipment
  • Record all data in relevant software and ensuring that all paperwork is correctly completed
  • Clean and pack items for return to customers

About You:

  • Previous experience in warehouse or production settings would be advantageous
  • Some understanding of IT equipment would be beneficial but not essential
  • IT Literate – experience using Microsoft Packages
  • Ability to work under pressure and excellent attention to detail
  • Good timekeeping skills and attendance
  • Good attention to detail
