Job Title: Civil Engineer Location: Bedford Office Department: Civil Engineering Job Purpose We are looking to expand the Civil Engineering department and are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Civil Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of residential and non-residential projects across the UK, supporting developments ranging from small private schemes to large-scale master planning projects. Key Responsibilities Work on a variety of UK-based projects including residential and mixed-use developments Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authority officers to ensure effective project delivery Attend project meetings (with support as needed) Collaborate with the wider engineering team across disciplines Manage small project teams and delegate tasks to technicians or apprentices Use CAD software (Microstation) for design and drafting Employ drainage and 3D design software (such as Flow and PDS) to model drainage networks and develop road/ground designs Prepare planning submission packs (Outline, Detail, Full) Deliver technical design submissions (S38, S278, S104) through to approval Prepare tender/construction packages for groundworks Contribute to the design of private on-plot developments #J-18808-Ljbffr
