GMS International Resources are currently recruiting for a number of Removals Porters to work for one of our key clients on a large scale project. This fantastic opportunity is to work as Removals Porter for a key client of ours based in Leeds (LS12).
Removal Porters Required
Your Responsibilities
- Work as part of a specialist works team completing large scale commercial moves – including moving boxes and equipment, logging them into the system and coding products correctly.
- Decommissioning and wrapping up.
- Supporting the projects team in discussing techniques and suitable plans.
- Travelling to client sites may be required with this role.
When working as a Removals Porter you must be punctual, have a presentable appearance and be able to lift heavy objects. The ideal candidates should have some sort of warehouse/removal experience but it is not essential, training will be provided. You will be working with a big team but at times must be able to work alone. The main focus will be relocating large companies in and around the surrounding areas. You will be required to lift large objects along with loading and unloading vehicles.
You must have steel toe capped boots along with dark clothing. All other uniform can be provided. We have shifts available Monday to Sunday.
