FP&A Analyst (P.E Focused)

FP&A Analyst – Private Equity (Portfolio Focused) Help drive commercial performance across a portfolio worth over £1bn. As FP&A Analyst, you’ll be part of the Portfolio Strategy Team — providing insight, forecasting, and performance data that drives value creation across multiple sectors. Key Responsibilities: * Build and maintain consolidated performance models across portfolio companies * Partner with Operating Partners to create turnaround plans and investment dashboards * Conduct revenue, margin, and working capital analysis across verticals * Prepare investment packs and board-level presentations * Model M&A scenarios, integration planning, and post-deal KPI tracking * Use advanced Excel, Power BI, and financial systems like NetSuite or TM1 * Track group-wide performance trends aligned with investment theses Technical Requirements: * Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis * Strong financial modelling (DCF, scenario, LBO a bonus) * Awareness of UK GAAP / IFRS concepts * Commercial acumen and ability to understand different operating models You Are: * ACA / CIMA / ACCA qualified or with strong FP&A background in PE, VC, or advisory * Able to translate numbers into narratives * Ambitious, sharp, and passionate about creating value in real businesses
