Junior / Assistant Quantity Surveyor Location: Leeds (Office-Based) Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 (Depending on Experience) A well-established retail construction main contractor is expanding into Leeds and looking for a driven Junior or Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This role will suit someone in the early stages of their QS career who wants hands-on experience, strong mentorship, and long-term development in a dynamic and busy environment. What you\’ll be doing: * Raising purchase orders and maintaining accurate records * Submitting quotations to clients for review and approval * Supporting the commercial team in managing subcontractor accounts * Monitoring costs and assisting in valuations and variations * Helping with project financial reporting and tracking spend * Learning the full QS process from start to finish What we\’re looking for: * 1–3 years of experience in a Junior or Assistant QS role * Construction or Quantity Surveying qualification preferred * High attention to detail and good with numbers * Confident communicator, both written and verbal * Motivated to learn and progress within the role Why apply? * Join a well-respected contractor with a growing footprint in the North * Be part of a supportive team with opportunities for progression * Get exposure to full project life cycles from the commercial side Ready to take the next step in your QS career?
