My client is a leading Media / Events Agency who, after going through a period of growth, are keen to ensure this continues. They are looking for a couple of Sales Executives / Account Managers to join the team! This business helps people live healthy and active lifestyles. They use websites and events to provide information and products to people who enjoy being outside, taking care of their health, and staying active. Their events bring together people who want to buy new products and companies that are selling the latest innovations in a fun and exciting setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Selling exhibition space, sponsorship, and digital packages
- Managing and upselling existing accounts
- Lead sourcing new business opportunities
- Cold calling new prospects
- Proactively dealing with all incoming enquiries to ensure that they are handled efficiently and professionally
- In-person meetings when necessary
- Timely completion of related admin including CRM system data input and management
- Attending competitor and industry events, which may require travel both in the UK and overseas
Experience & skills:
- Sales experience in a media setting (preferred but not mandatory)
- Personable, friendly, and approachable
- Excellent attention to detail
- Organised with good time management skills
- Proactive and self-motivated
These guys have an office based in Guildford. They love to have people in the office to maintain the collaborative and positive environment they have built but can offer a day or two of work from home after onboarding, if preferred. They are open to looking at CVs with a range of experience and can offer a base salary between £28,000 - £35,000 + uncapped commission scheme depending on the range of experience and level you would be coming in at.
