Join a growing manufacturing business based in Shipley as a Master Production Scheduler (MPS). You will be responsible for optimising production schedules, managing forecasts, and improving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have MRP and SAP experience, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain forecast models for customers and products.
  • Ensure alignment between sales orders, production schedules, and material availability.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, assembly, and purchasing teams.
  • Analyse inventory levels and assist the planning department with any issues.
  • Manage MRP integration across departments.
  • Report on KPIs, including plan adherence, inventory, and customer delivery performance.
  • Contribute to SAP implementation within the supply chain.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in demand planning/forecasting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with MRP systems and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders and drive collaborative efforts.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with SAP integration in the supply chain.
