A respected housing developer who are recognised for their high quality standards are looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join their team. You will be managing a brand new site in Chipping Norton alongside a Senior Site Manager and number 2 Site Manager, offering progression opportunities as new phases kick off.

Job Duties:

  • Assist Senior Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations on site
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Monitor quality standards and address any issues

Required Qualifications:

  • SMSTS certification
  • CSCS card
  • First Aid certification
  • Valid Driving Licence
  • NVQ Level 4 in Construction Management or related field

Education: Minimum NVQ Level 4 in Construction Management or related field

Experience:

  • Prior experience in high volume house building
  • Experience in a similar role within the construction industry

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of construction processes and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Working Conditions: Fast-paced construction site environment, may require working outdoors in various weather conditions. Regular site visits and occasional travel may be necessary.
