Location: Serenity Path Hospital, Winchester, SO21 1HD

Hours: 37 hours per week – Monday – Friday 8.00am – 4.00pm / 9.00am – 5.00pm

Trust Location: Hampshire & Isle of Wight NHS Foundation Trust

Role type: Temporary for 6 months with possibility of extension

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Provision of a comprehensive PA, medical secretarial and administrative service to the Consultant Psychiatrist or Modern Matron for the unit and other members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) as required.
  • Support the Consultant Psychiatrist or Modern Matron for the unit in all aspects of business management activity relating to functions and responsibilities, including the development and management of a comprehensive and efficient PA support service.
  • Live minute taking and accurate typing up of minutes.
  • Participate in ensuring the unit’s electronic diary is accurate and up to date at all times to include such information as ward rounds, meetings, assessments etc.
  • Take responsibility for the setting up and organisation of meetings including preparing agendas, distributing papers in advance of meetings, taking minutes and action logs as required, ensuring accurate and timely transcription and circulation. To proactively follow up progress and ensure actions are carried out.

This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.

  • PA experience (desirable).
  • Competent with Microsoft office programmes.
