A really fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing specialist company that has been established for over 25 years. Our client provides support in controlling the hazards of site environments, caring for both site personnel and members of the public, specialising in protecting against dust, fumes and noise – elements which can be disturbing, damaging and even fatal. Training will be provided.
Company vehicle + Fuel card. 1-year FTC with the possibility of extension. Applications from suitably qualified ex-military personnel (Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Marines) will be particularly relevant for this position.
About the Role:
To assist the Barrow Project Team in carrying out its operational activities on site. A company van will be provided for business use. The successful candidate will live within commutable distance from Barrow.
Key Responsibilities:
- To carry out on-site technical engineering installations on all Company equipment types
- To carry out maintenance and inspections as per the service contract
- To carry out equipment breakdowns as and when required
- To maintain a high level of site health and safety awareness
- To carry out ad-hoc workshop/stores duties as required
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Level 3 Electrical Qualification
- Working knowledge of LEV
- Construction site experience essential
- CSCS / ECS card (technical or above)
- Driving licence essential
- Health & Safety certified to level 3 (desirable)
- MOD SC clearance (essential)
- Good IT Skills
- Good level of physical and mental fitness
- Good customer relationship skills
- Good verbal and written skills
