Brearley & Co are a leading independent firm of accountants who have been established for over 30 years with offices in Swinton, Chapeltown, Doncaster, Dinnington and Barnsley. The business is looking to recruit a Semi Senior Accountant to join our Swinton office. Due to the highly varied client base, the successful candidate will develop great exposure across all areas of accounting, coupled with working within a highly supportive environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparation of Statutory accounts to Manager/Partner review
- Preparation of Personal Tax returns
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Preparation of Corporate Tax Returns
- Develop experience in the use of cloud accounting products
Skills and Qualities
The successful applicants must have developed a minimum of 3 year’s experience working within the accountancy profession and will have developed experience for the preparation of accounts to final review stage. We are ideally looking for an AAT level 3/4 applicant or PQ ACCA, however applications from individuals who have developed suitable experience from within the accountancy profession but have decided not to pursue formal studies are also highly encouraged.
