Ridgeway & Co are working with a well-established scaffolding subcontractor to recruit an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team, based out of their head office in the West Essex / East London area. This is a great opportunity to join a successful and growing business with a strong reputation in delivering access and scaffolding solutions across the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for scaffolding packages
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and the operational team to gather accurate pricing information
- Assist with tender adjudications and negotiate final terms
- Work closely with Directors and Contracts Managers to support project handover and delivery

- Experience as an Estimator within the scaffolding or access industry
- Strong understanding of pricing labour, materials, and plant
- Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Proficient with estimating software and Excel
