We are looking for a confident, outgoing individual to assist with operating our Canoe Safari Trail. You will be engaging with and instructing our visitors to ensure they have an unforgettable experience whilst hiring a canoe on a self-paddled trail through our nature reserve. Previous experience of canoeing and/or water sports and working in a busy visitor focused environment will be an advantage, however full training will be provided.
A practical can do attitude is highly sought after.
You don’t need to know how to paddle a canoe, we are happy to show you, what is really important to us is your ability to deliver great customer service and ensure that our visitors have an amazing time.
This is a casual position where hours are offered on an ad hoc basis. Candidates will need to be willing to work some weekends, bank holidays and during the school holidays.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of working in a visitor attraction or similar customer focused operation
- Experience of working with people of all ages
- A can do attitude and willingness to get involved
- A high standard of customer service and communication skills
