Are you passionate about quality and making sure that fresh produce meets the highest standards? We are seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to join this grower/packer business.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all fresh produce meets company and regulatory quality standards
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods
  • Monitor storage and handling processes to maintain freshness and safety
  • Implement and maintain food safety protocols (HACCP, GMP, etc.)
  • Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to improve quality control

Requirements:

  • Experience in fresh produce quality control or a similar role
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday 8-5pm and 1 weekend in 3 (2 lieu days)
