Are you passionate about quality and making sure that fresh produce meets the highest standards? We are seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to join this grower/packer business.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all fresh produce meets company and regulatory quality standards
2. Conduct inspections and quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods
3. Monitor storage and handling processes to maintain freshness and safety
4. Implement and maintain food safety protocols (HACCP, GMP, etc.)
5. Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to improve quality control

Requirements:

1. Experience in fresh produce quality control or a similar role
2. Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
3. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work Monday-Friday 8-5pm and 1 weekend in 3 (2 lieu days)
