Are you passionate about quality and making sure that fresh produce meets the highest standards? We are seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to join this grower/packer business.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all fresh produce meets company and regulatory quality standards
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods
- Monitor storage and handling processes to maintain freshness and safety
- Implement and maintain food safety protocols (HACCP, GMP, etc.)
- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to improve quality control
Requirements:
- Experience in fresh produce quality control or a similar role
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work Monday-Friday 8-5pm and 1 weekend in 3 (2 lieu days)
