The Role As a Fund Controller , you’ll manage several real estate debt funds, taking ownership of financial reporting, tax compliance, liquidity, and investor relations. You’ll work closely with internal teams, fund administrators, tax advisors, and asset managers to drive seamless operations across the fund lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Include: Review of the quarterly financial statements and investor capital statements, prepared by the fund administrator. Assist in coordinating the quarterly investor reporting package. Review of management fee calculations. Review of interest calculations for the debt investments and IPD statements. Respond to investor queries and prepare investor-specific reporting. Coordinate the funding for new deals, interacting closely with the deal team and fund administrator. Monitor liquidity and coordinate drawdowns from the subscription line, as well as investor capital calls and distributions. Work with the fund administrator team to prepare capital calls and distribution notices to investors, ensuring capital activity is consistent with LPAs/waterfalls. Coordinate the annual audit. Review VAT and tax returns. Assist in updating the fund model on a quarterly basis. Coordinate financial administration tasks such as KYC, bank account, and legal entity opening. Review expenses/invoices and coordinate the approval/payment process. About You We’re looking for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with: 3-4 years of post-qualified experience in audit or private equity/real estate fund accounting. Confidence, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in a small, high-performing team. Why Join?
