We are looking for a go-getting fire damper engineer based in the South East, who can undertake assessments on fire dampers, improve performance, follow BS9999 guidelines and write regular service reports. Applicants must have experience working as a fire damper and be flexible to travel. Experience / Qualifications:
- Current experience working as a fire damper engineer
- Hold the CSCS card and BESA Fire Damper Testing & Installation certificate would be beneficial
- Adept in BS9999, TR19 and HSE guidelines
- Time management and keeping to deadlines
- IT educated and able to write detailed service reports
- Travel in line with company requirements
The Role:
- Complete testing on commercial, industrial, public, food & beverage and manufacturing sites
- Evaluate the safety and functionality of fire dampers and associated systems
- Work independently and as a team
- Carry out inspections, installations and drop testing of fire dampers
- Pinpoint any flaws and advise on appropriate repairs
