Mission
As a Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering strategic and operational engagements for global investment management clients. Drawing on your experience within the asset management ecosystem, you will provide subject matter expertise and business analysis in defined functional areas. You will be instrumental in bridging technical and operational objectives, supporting client decision-making, system implementation, and process optimization. This position demands analytical rigor, consultative thinking, and the ability to operate in multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Execute client engagements from scoping through delivery, ensuring quality outcomes, adherence to timelines, and client satisfaction.
- Conduct detailed current state assessments through interviews, documentation review, surveys, and workshops.
- Develop and articulate future-state operating models, process improvements, and architectural recommendations.
- Lead or contribute to data governance initiatives: define taxonomies, business glossaries, and domain-specific controls.
- Participate in or lead system implementation projects: requirements gathering, data mapping, transformation, testing, and validation.
- Support system/vendor selection activities, including RFP design, vendor evaluation, and decision frameworks.
- Work cross-functionally with internal knowledge groups to expand domain expertise.
- Contribute to research and benchmarking content, whitepapers, webinars, and client-facing communications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the investment management industry (asset manager, asset owner, or asset servicer).
- Demonstrated experience as a business analyst or functional contributor in one or more of the following areas: Front-office technology and processes: trade lifecycle, OMS/PMS, research workflows; Performance and risk analytics: attribution, GIPS, multi-asset risk modeling; Data architecture and analytics: governance, Snowflake, Markit EDM, BI tools; Enterprise compliance and risk: policy enforcement, proxy voting, vendor oversight.
- Solid understanding of investment data flows and financial instruments across asset classes.
- Hands-on proficiency with tools and languages such as SQL, Python, and ETL/data integration platforms.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Advanced skills in MS Office Suite and the creation of professional deliverables.
